The reason why it is important to learn the things of the Bible is it helps us gain wisdom and understanding and that helps us to know what is good. If we know what is pleasing to God, we then are able to learn what we should shun in order not to sin against God.

This week I challenge you to read more of your word and ask God to give you the understanding in the word.

Prayer: Lord help me to learn your truth.  Help me to be able to flee sin because I understand what is pleasing to you. give me wisdom so that I may please you in all my ways. Help me to acknowledge you. Amen.
